River Weekend Packing List

My boyfriend’s friends meet up most regularly at the river to enjoy the sunshine and a few brews. Now that I’ve been tagging along for the better part of four years, I’ve got a go-to packing list.

Boat Bag

  • Sunglasses & hat

  • Sunscreen (body & face) & SPF chapstick

  • Deodorant

  • Hypochlorous acid spray (ex: Tower 28, etc) for my acne prone people

  • Beach towel

  • Koozie for your beverage of choice (hard or soft)

  • Snacks to share, trash bag (if not on the boat already)

  • Wearing: Water shoes (my choice is Tevas) because the rivers are mucky

  • Wearing: swimsuit & cover-up

Toiletries

  • Contacts & glasses

  • Face wash, moisturizer, etc

  • Face towel or two

  • Toothbrush & toothpaste

  • Razor, tweezers

Clothes

  • Bras & underwear of choice (bring more than you think you need)

  • Swimsuits & cover up

  • Flip flops

  • Pajamas and any other comfy clothes, loose, preferably; socks

Misc

  • Extra towel (if you can fit it)

  • Kindle, journal

At Home Before You Go

  • Wash your sheets

  • Run the dishwasher

  • Take out the trash
